It has been a while since my last post! Here’s a photo of a recent project just after I started weaving. The warp is 40/2 linen and three silk ribbon yarns I dyed many years ago. The linen was sourced from Jane Stafford Textiles and the ribbons were purchased from Treenway Silks. The weft is 30/2 silk. The lovely array of weft colours came from Jane Stafford Textiles and Sanjo Silk.
Such gorgeous yarns and colours. The scarf is off the loom and waiting to be wet finished.

Thanks. I can hardly wait myself. The transformation from the web of warp and weft that comes off loom to cloth after finishing is incredible. I am hoping to get to it this week and will be sure to post the finished scarf.
